Entries are now open for Round 1 of the 2026/27 Prospeed Racing Tarmac Sprint Series, kicking off on Thursday 8th October 2026 at Sydney Dragway.
If you have ever wanted to have a go at motorsport but thought you needed a fully prepared rally car, roll cage and years of competition experience, the Prospeed Racing Tarmac Sprint Series might be exactly what you have been looking for.
You Don’t Need a Rally Car to Have a Go
One of the great things about the Tarmac Sprint Series is just how accessible it is.
A wide range of vehicles can compete, from road cars through to fully prepared competition cars. Both 2WD and 4WD vehicles are welcome, giving competitors the opportunity to enjoy a proper motorsport event without necessarily needing a dedicated rally car.
The event is also designed to suit different types of competitors.

✅ Juniors from 14 years of age
✅ Up to THREE Drivers can enter using the same vehicle
So whether you are an experienced competitor or someone who has always wondered what your road car would be like in a competition environment, this is your chance to give it a go.
4.5km of Tarmac at Sydney Dragway
Competitors will take on approximately 4.5km of smooth tarmac, with the course incorporating the Sydney Dragway dragstrip and the D2 car park area.
It provides a unique mix of speed, technical sections and plenty of opportunity to enjoy your car in a controlled motorsport environment.
And with the event taking place on a Thursday evening, you don’t have to give up an entire weekend to go racing.

Want to get a few mates involved?
Up to three Drivers can enter using the same vehicle, with each Driver submitting their own event entry.
It is a great way to share the experience and make getting involved in motorsport even easier.
Don’t have a Co-Driver? No problem. Single Driver entries are also available.
