The countdown is officially on! With just two weeks remaining until Round 2 of the 2026/27 Pro Speed Tarmac Sprint Series, it’s time to get your car ready and secure your place on the start line!
The series returns to Sydney Dragway on Thursday 12th November 2026, promising another exciting evening of tarmac motorsport following a fantastic opening round earlier this month.
Round 1 delivered plenty of action, fierce competition and some impressive performances, with Lance Arundel claiming the outright victory. But with Round 2 fast approaching, the question is: who will rise to the challenge?

One of the best things about the Pro Speed Tarmac Sprint Series is that you don’t need a purpose-built rally car to compete.
The event welcomes a wide variety of vehicles, giving motorsport enthusiasts the opportunity to put their driving skills to the test on a challenging 4.5km tarmac course.
Whether you’re driving an everyday performance car or a dedicated competition machine, there’s a place for you!
Vehicles and competitors welcome include:
- Road cars and dedicated competition cars
- 2WD and 4WD vehicles
- Can-Am and Polaris side-by-sides
- Cross Karts
- Junior drivers aged 14 and over
- Up to three drivers sharing one vehicle
Whether you’re chasing outright honours, battling your mates or simply looking to improve your personal best, the series offers a fantastic opportunity to experience competitive motorsport in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Thursday Night Motorsport at Sydney Dragway
Forget giving up your entire weekend to go racing!
The Pro Speed Tarmac Sprint Series brings the excitement of motorsport to Thursday evenings, with competition getting underway from 6:00pm at Sydney Dragway.
The 4.5km tarmac course combines technical corners with faster sections, rewarding precision, consistency and driving skill.
And with a broad mix of machinery taking to the course, there’s plenty of variety and excitement throughout the field.
Round 2 – Event Details
Event: 2026/27 Pro Speed Tarmac Sprint Series – Round 2
Date: Thursday 12th November 2026
Venue: Sydney Dragway, Eastern Creek NSW
Racing Starts: 6:00pm
Competitors require an appropriate Motorsport Australia Speed Licence, with Single Event Speed Licences also available for eligible participants. The event is open to competitors from all clubs, so you don’t need to belong to a particular car club to participate.
