The North Shore Sporting Car Club has announced a new partnership with Donington Auctions, bringing a dynamic shift to the Monthly AutoBrunch Cars and Coffee event.
Donington Auctions, a renowned name in the Melbourne automotive auction industry, will set up its new Sydney headquarters in Annangrove. The historic location, situated at the former site of the iconic Amaroo Park racetrack, promises to be a haven for automotive enthusiasts.
The collaboration will enhance the NSSCC cars and coffee event experience by incorporating the expertise from Donington Auctions with the events 7-year history at St Ives and over 300 cars that regularly attend every month.
Additionally, the monthly event has Motorsport Australia approval with a permit for use by limited road registered cars to travel to and from their garage.
“Our club offers incredibly low-cost Historic vehicle registration (through Service NSW) as part of our membership, plus new owners can save a lot on stamp duty as well” said Brett Middleton the club President.
Donington Auctions will be housed in a restored building, retaining the historic charm of the old Amaroo Park site. This move offers an immersive experience for Sydney’s community of car and motorcycle enthusiasts. The new facility will serve as both an auction house, as a hub for events and gatherings.
Cameron Sabine, co-principal of Donington Auctions, expressed his enthusiasm about the expansion into Sydney. “Donington Auctions is delighted to now be able to offer the same hands-on support to Sydney enthusiasts as we have long done in Melbourne.
The North Shore Sporting Car Club and Donington Auctions invite everyone to join them in celebrating this partnership at the upcoming Monthly AutoBrunch on the 4th of February 2024 at St Ives Showground from 8am.
