The ADULT DRIVER Entry Fee (You can choose to have a Co-Driver or not) is $350.00 per round.
The JUNIOR DRIVER Entry Fee is $250.00 per round (age 14 – 18yrs. Junior Drivers must be accompanied by an adult Co-Driver).

The 2025/26 Season will feature TWO TRACKS!
For the 2025/26 Prospeed Racing Tarmac Sprint Series, we’re stepping it up with two full course layouts. The Series will feature the traditional forward direction track and the brand new reverse direction layout.
Each round of the 5 event season will feature one track only, giving competitors a fresh challenge every time they line up. Across the series, both setups will be used, ensuring drivers get to experience the full variety, speed, and technical skill each layout demands.
Whether you’re tackling the high-speed forward flow or the all-new reverse layout with added sections, every event will bring something different to test your limits.

The ROAD CLASS allows competitors with standard vehicles a chance to win their class.
ROAD CLASS REQUIREMENTS:
Vehicles are eligible for the “ROAD Classes” only if:
- Must have FULL ROAD REGISTRATION (not including Rally Registration)
- Must have full interior
The only vehicle modifications allowed in ROAD classes are as follows:
- Aftermarket wheels and tyres (tyres must be road legal)
- After market exhaust
- Blow Off Valve
- Coil Overs
ALL OTHER VEHICLES WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE OPEN CLASSES.
What is the SD Class?
The SD or “Single Driver” Class is designed for competitors who choose to compete without a co-driver.

For the 2025/26 season, we’ve introduced a dedicated Gravel Tyre Class!

All entries on gravel tyres will automatically be placed in this class.

This STILL is the closest tarmac sprint event to Sydney, giving you reduced travel costs to get to and from the venue, as well as a fun location for servicing your car.
THE ROADS:
The roads are a mix of fast, slow and challenging sections suiting all cars. 100% of the course is smooth and in some places, brand new asphalt.
ARE YOU READY TO RACE?
You don’t need a supercar to enter, in fact just about any car will do… borrow your mother in laws Toyota Camry!
- Practically any car can enter (Note: if you have an EV or a vehicle with an open roof or soft top, unfortunately you can not enter the events this season)
- If it’s a safe car, you can use it
- Non registered cars are ok
- Simple onsite scrutiny from 3pm

The Concept
Overview of Vehicle Requirements
- Blue Triangle Battery Sticker is required.
- Safety Triangles are NOT required.
- Mud Flaps are NOT required.
- A Motorsport Australia compliant first aid kit is NOT required (but suggested).
- A Fire Extinguisher is NOT required (but suggested). If you do have fire extinguishers in the vehicle (1kg minimum) they must be securely mounted and not with tek screws.
- Slicks, rally tyres or road tyres are allowed. If you have gravel tyres on the vehicle, we have a special class just for you!
- Tyre warmers are allowed.
- Race cars, drift cars, etc are allowed as long as they have safe seating for the Co-Driver and a fully operable passenger door from the inside. If this is not the case, the Driver only entry option is available.
- You must remember that the Driver and Co-Driver must be safe, so internal door trims and leg protection must be in place in case of a side impact. So please be sure ample roll cage padding is used as well as no hard objects such as modified dash mounts and centre consoles are present.
- Bonnet pins are not required if you still have the factory fitted catch and secondary catch operational.
- Road registration is not required.
- Roll cage is not required in a closed car (but recommended).
- Full harness seat belts are not required (but recommended).
- FHR (Frontal Head Restraints) are not required but encouraged.

Overview of Crew Requirements
- A civil drivers licence is not required.
- Both crew must have a Motorsport Australia Licence (Speed Licence or higher).
- Both crew members must be a member of NSSCC to enter. If you are a member of another Motorsport Australia affiliated car club, you can apply for the special NSSCC free Adults Single Event Membership. If you are a Junior, you must be a FULL NSSCC member.
- Both crew members need a Motorsport Australia approved Helmet. This must be in good condition and not look like it has been kicked around your garage.
- If you have a FHR (Frontal Head Restraint) we expect you to wear it. It is not compulsory for this event but recommended.
- Apparel: Long non-flammable clothing that covers from ankle to neck to wrists (if you own a driving suit we expect you to wear it) and closed shoes. Apparel regulations can be found here: Technical Appendix (motorsport.org.au)
- Drivers of 14 years and over can enter.
- Co-Drivers of 14 years and over can enter.
- Triple Driver entries in one vehicle is NOT allowed. The maximum amount of Drivers per vehicle is two.
- The same Co-Driver can ride in multiple cars.
Did you know that a co-driver is not mandatory for this Seasons Tarmac Sprint Series?
Whilst you can’t score series points, you can enter the event without having a co-driver. So if you’re having trouble finding someone to sit beside you, why not enter anyway! You will be entered into the SD class for the event and eligible for event class awards.
Do you plan on entering your 4WD Car? Or are you a 2WD kinda person? Whatever your preferred option, FWD, RWD or 4WD, make sure you enter this season. We’ve got plenty of cool stuff going on at this seasons events, so make sure you enter a round or two.

The Tarmac Sprint Series is held at Sydney Dragway, Eastern Creek. You don’t need to be an experienced rally or race driver to compete at the Tarmac Sprint. In fact you only need to be over 14 years old to compete. So if you want to drive your standard, modified, race or rally car fast on a road circuit in a safe and controlled environment, then you should come to the Tarmac Sprint Series held in Sydney on a weeknight each month during summer.

Does my Co-Driver need experience?
No, the course is easy to follow so they can enjoy the ride or give you suggestions! All they need to do is get you to arrive at the start line on time and carry the time card and hand it in at the finish!
REMEMBER this year you can enter with a Driver only (this means that you will be included in the SD Class and eligible for event class awards BUT not eligible for Series points or awards).
Does my turbo car need to have a restrictor to compete?
No, restrictors are not compulsory at the event.
How do I get scrutineering?
Scrutineering:
The Scrutineering process will be different for:
- Vehicles with a Motorsport Australia Log Book
- Vehicles without a Motorsport Australia Log Book
Scrutineering for Vehicles WITH a Motorsport Australia Log Book:
A vehicle with a Motorsport Australia Log Book does NOT need to be checked by a Scrutineer.
The Competitor, Driver and Co-Driver must, prior to the Event fill out a copy of the following forms. The forms can then be uploaded to the Online Entry Form:

- The Competitor must also upload images of the Vehicle Log Book including the vehicle details page and the event log. These images will need to be uploaded onto the Online Entry Form.
Spot checks on competing vehicles will be made during the event/s by the Event Scrutineers. The Vehicle Log Book must be ready to be checked at any time during the event/s.
Scrutineering for Vehicles WITHOUT a Motorsport Australia Log Book:
A vehicle without a Motorsport Australia Log Book will need to be checked by an approved Motorsport Australia Rally Scrutineer. There are two options for Scrutineering:
- Regional Scrutineering: Competitors are requested to have their vehicles scrutineered by a Motorsport Australia Regional Rally Scrutineer in the 2 weeks prior to the Event. The list of Regional Rally Scrutineers is available at http://www.rallynsw.com.au/info/organisers/scrutineering/
- The competitor must download the Event Scrutineering Form prior to attending regional scrutineering. The form can be downloaded from the Official Noticeboard: https://nsscc.com.au/twilight-rallysprint/#documents
- If the correct form is not used, the vehicle will need to be re-scrutineered at the Event.
- The completed form can be then uploaded onto the Online Entry Form.
It is recommended that regional scrutiny be utilised where possible to reduce demand at the venue on the day of the Event.
- Event Venue Scrutineering: Event Venue Scrutineering is available at the Sydney International Dragway Scrutiny Bays on the Eastern (dragstrip) side of Rally HQ (Blue Building). See Appendix A location map for details. Event Venue Scrutineering is available between 1500hrs and 1715hrs on the day of the Event.
There is limited time for Event Venue Scrutineering.
- The Event Scrutineers will have a copy of the Event Scrutineering Form.
- Please attend Scrutineering BEFORE you complete Event Documentation.
- Please line up with your vehicle in the Scrutiny Bays and wait to be Scrutineered.
- It is the Competitors responsibility to present their vehicle to the Scrutineer in a timely manner to ensure that enough time is allowed for the vehicle to be checked for compliance. It is recommended crew arrive early, as it’s expected to be busy and delays will occur.
- Once Scrutineered, please bring the completed form with you to Event Documentation.
- The Competitor, Driver and Co-Driver must, prior to the event fill out a copy of the Statement of Vehicle Compliance Form. The form can then be uploaded to the Online Entry Form:
Compulsory equipment which will be checked at scrutiny includes:
- Safety Cage Structure and Safety Cage padding, (cage not mandatory) but if installed in compliance with Motorsport Australia Manual; Technical Appendix Schedule J.
- Full harness seat belts (not mandatory) but if installed, in compliance with Motorsport Australia Manual; Technical Appendix Schedule I.
- Fuel shall be in compliance with Motorsport Australia Manual; Technical Appendix Schedule G.
- Helmets and apparel in compliance with Motorsport Australia Manual; Technical Appendix Schedule D.
- The car in a “ready to rally” condition, including driving lights (if they will be used).
- Competitors are advised that any in-car video or moving film cameras must be installed in the vehicle prior to scrutiny so that the camera and its mounting can be inspected.
How do I get a start/car number?
Every event has new car numbers that we provide at event documentation. You will be notified of your car number the day before each event when the Seeded Entry List is published (keep checking the website www.nsscc.com.au to download the list)
The numbers are based on single or dual entries as well as shared Drivers and Co-Drivers.
This is not a 100% seeded field as we also often group cars together based on model and speed and need to take into consideration time for dual entries to swap over.
Sorry, we are unable to guarantee the same car number at each event.
Do I need a special rally car?
No, almost any car can enter. Many of last year’s competitors used their road car and drove to and from the event. Unfotunately, EV and Open Top vehicles can not enter the event due to the facility requirements and the nature of the course layout.
Is there any gravel?
No, the course is 100% asphalt.
I don't own a race suit, do I need one?
No, you do not need specialised race wear. You must wear long non-flammable clothing that covers from ankle to neck to wrists (but if you own a driving suit we expect you to wear it) and closed shoes. Apparel regulations can be found here: Technical Appendix (motorsport.org.au)
Will I crash my car?
That is up to you, the course is no different to a suburban street or freeway.
You decide how fast you go.
Do I need special racing brakes or modifications?
No, 100% stock cars are common.
Why do I have to join NSSCC?
The event is run as a closed-to-club S1 Rallysprint, this permits us to have more freedoms than other types of events.
If I am a member of another club do I still need to join NSSCC?
Yes, but if your club is an affiliated Motorsport Australia club then you can apply for a special free NSSCC Adult Single Event Membership.
To be eligible for a free NSSCC Single Event Membership, you must be able to present your valid (other club) full membership at the event.
PLEASE NOTE: Juniors can not purchase a Single Event Memebrship. They must purchase a full Junior NSSCC Membership package.

Do I need to have a Co-Driver?
No, we do allow entries that have a Driver only. If you enter as a “Single Driver” entry with no Co-Driver, you will be placed in the SD Class. The SD Class is eligible for Event class awards but competitors in the SD class will not receive Series points or Series awards.
What is the minimum age for my Co-Driver?
The Co-Driver must be 14 years and over.
I cant find a Co-Driver, what should I do?
Easy, you can enter the event with TBA in the Co-Driver fields and secure your spot or you can enter the event without a Co-Driver (you will be added to the SD – Single Driver Class). However, competitors in the SD class will be eligible for Event class awards only but will NOT receive Series points or Series awards.
I am doing the whole series, do I need to get scrutineered every event?
If you have a car with a Motorsport Australia Log Book – you will need to provide the current Self Scrutiny Forms before each event.
If you have a car without a Motorsport Australia Log Book – you will need to be scrutineered before each event.

I have a race car and no passenger seat, can I enter?
You can enter the event as a Driver only. See the “Do I need to have a Co-Driver?” FAQ for more information.
Is there any noise restrictions?
The event is run at the Sydney International Dragway so unless your car is louder than a top fuel car you will be okay.
Can I help promote the event?
Yes, we would love to have you help promote and drive entries for the event. Having more entrants will ensure the event is back next year.

What Licence do I need?
No civil licence is required, but you will need a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence or higher. If you do not have a Motorsport Australia licence, please visit https://motorsport.org.au/licence/ to purchase a Speed Licence or a Junior Speed Licence (if you are eligible).
What is the Gravel Tyre Class?
For the 2025/26 season we’re introducing a brand-new Gravel Tyre Class. If you enter the event on gravel tyres, you’ll automatically be placed into this class, no matter what vehicle you’re driving or how it’s modified. To be eligible, competitors must use gravel tyres for all timed runs and must compete as a driver and co-driver team – single-driver entries will not be accepted.
The Gravel Tyre Class will be included in the official results as its own category and will be eligible for event class awards. However, please note that while competitors in this class can fight for event honours, they will not be eligible for series points or end-of-season series awards.
