A recent Rally NSW Facebook post has shown the interest in Rally Motorsport is on the rise.
Helping achieve this was the V-Sport Caves Classic 2016 which, as quoted below, shows that it broke a total reach record that has been standing for two years.
“What a week for rallying in NSW. A full field in the Simpson Race Products Coffs Coast Rallysprint followed last weekend by a 51 Car field for round 1 of the Techworkz Development Rally series .
The V Sport Caves Classic Rally has smashed the RallyNSW Facebook page records for most engagement on a single rally. The previous best was a reach of 64,000 people on Rally of Canberra in 2014 . Numbers below are for the period 2nd march – 8th March.
Round 1 of the 2016 DRS has now a reach of 70,511 and climbing. Our videos posted have been viewed 27,123 times , with the most popular video being of Andrew Penny on SS8 having a reach of 17,200.
The majority of people reached came from Australia (42,645) , with the United States having a reach of 8,117 , UK 3,312 , NZ 3,115, Canada 1,379 and Ireland 1,194.
Interestingly Melbourne topped the Australian locations for most reach with 3,516 people engaged , followed by Sydney 2,817.”
